England Acres is a 1870’s working farm in Frederick County, Maryland. Registered in the Maryland Ag preservation program and has continually been farmed since the land was originally cleared in the 1800’s.

Judy and Jeff England have owned England Acres since 1985 running it as a dairy farm until recently moving from dairy operations to grain, hay/straw, feed and beef cow facility.

Beef Services:

Orders and deposits are now being accepted for beef orders ready for delivery in February and March 2010. Beef will be individually packed by cut, labeled and frozen in cryovac packaging. Our angus cattle have been raised in a conscience aware environment: with no hormone use, steroids or any unnecessary antibiotic or pesticide applications. Grazing on managed pasture lands all summer; with plenty of space, shade, and quality water. Hay and forage grown on the farm is used for supplementing the cattle's food supply during inclement weather.

Benefits of our locally raised beef:

In addition to being raised locally, the beef will be processed at a local facility. Whole or sides of beef are available for sale, which will be cut to the buyers specifications. Smaller quantities of a variety of cuts are available as well.

Ordering beef from England Acres gives you peace of mind knowing the producer and origin of your purchase. The meat will be dry aged for 14-21 days prior to cutting as well as being USDA inspected.
